Prestige Racing
Away from his work in the energy industry, Phil Mulacek is active in vintage car racing with his Texas-based team, Prestige Racing. He participates in Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing, known as CVAR, as part of the region’s historic motorsport community.
Racing with CVAR
CVAR brings historic race cars, drivers and volunteers together for race weekends and driver development. Its events provide an opportunity to see classic competition cars in action and meet the people who keep them on the track.
Phil’s participation is documented in CVAR’s published results. The club’s Group 1 Race 1 results for MSR Houston on September 29, 2018 list Phil Mulacek, connecting his vintage racing history with the Texas circuit.
Historic cars on the track
A 1966 Shelby GT350 is among the cars recorded in Phil’s vintage racing entries. SVRA’s published results for the November 7, 2020 Group 6 / 12a feature race at Circuit of the Americas list Phil Mulacek, car number 18, in a 1966 Shelby GT350, with The Woodlands, Texas as his hometown.
